Role:

The Benefits Account Manager supports the sales of and provides service for customers. This role is responsible for changes, updates, and value-added services.

NOTE: This role is in no way related to the administration of employee benefits such as one might see in a company Human Resources Department. This role supports the SALE of employee benefits to organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process policy changes and respond to enquiries with the utmost professionalism and timeliness
  • Answer client’s questions regarding payments and notices.
  • Process endorsements for clients.
  • Manage a diverse book of house accounts.
  • Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers.
  • Review and respond to renewal activities.
  • Follow up and see tasks thru to completion.
  • Always protect the best interest of both the company and the customer.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced -The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the sale of employee benefits
  • Multi-tasking - Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensed – Current license required.
  • Quick learner – We are looking for someone who can pick up new things rapidly. A quick starter who can integrate new knowledge will be set up for success.
  • Computer literate– Ready to use and learn technology, as we work in a variety of portals and software programs.
  • Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
  • Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner.
  • Team Oriented – Ability to incorporate well with the existing team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
  • Professionalism - A senior team member is expected to set the example for other team members, in both success and professionalism.
Education and Certification:
  • Active license appropriate to the line of business is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
