Shift: Mon-Thurs - 8a-5p - Fri - 8s-2p

Working as a Medical Assistant in the Urology Department is rewarding because of the strong, supportive team and the fast-paced, busy clinic environment. We value open communication and transparency, which helps everyone work together effectively and provide the best experience for our patients. We also take time to celebrate our successes as a team, whether it's recognizing accomplishments or enjoying birthday potlucks together. One of the perks we appreciate is our shortened Friday hours, allowing us to leave at 3:00 p.m. and enjoy a little extra time at the end of the week. Overall, it's a great team environment where everyone contributes, communicates, and celebrates each other.
How you'll contribute
A CMA who excels in this role will:
  • Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties an assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

What we're looking for
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
  • Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification and Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required.
  • Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred; 1 year of clinic experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
