• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, including detailed assessments of physical limitations, movement patterns, and overall functional performance.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training to promote recovery.
• Deliver education and guidance to patients and caregivers, empowering them with knowledge regarding their conditions and the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance care delivery and ensure all aspects of the patient’s health are addressed.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Connecticut.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective patient interactions and teamwork.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• A strong passion for building rapport with patients, fostering trust, and encouraging them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• A proactive mindset, demonstrating a willingness to engage with patients and contribute positively to their care experience.

While entry-level applicants are welcome, candidates with prior experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, particularly in rehabilitation or outpatient environments, will be given preference. Experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurology is advantageous.
