Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities):
The job duties of the Sr. System Administrator are as follows:
• Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
• Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
• Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
• Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
• Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
• Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
• Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
• Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
• Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and
Domain Controllers.

Required Qualifications:
• Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.
