The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is a regional branch of one of the largest public medical schools in the United States. Position Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Peoria campus is seeking General OB/GYN physicians for both full-time and part-time positions. These roles involve providing comprehensive healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as actively participating in the education and clinical training of residents and medical students. Our expanding program offers the flexibility to tailor your role to your interests in patient care, teaching, and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology across both outpatient and inpatient environments.
• Engage in the education of residents and medical students, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Participate in scholarly activities to advance the field.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching residents and medical students.
• Interest or experience in research and academic leadership is a plus.
