Position for a Certified Personal Trainer :
 
Your talents and credentials:

  • Passion for improving the lives of others with a can-do positive attitude
  • Effective, engaging and welcoming interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire and capacity to adapt training to diverse ages and fitness levels
  • Must hold and maintain professional fitness certification from approved agency such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, AFFA, NFPT or related and CPR/AED certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field, preferred
  • 1 year experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry

Personal Trainer
  • Deliver Personal Training Sessions, Small Group Sessions, and Nutrition Counseling Sessions to clients
  • Build member participation in all services provided 
  • Ensure safety and monitor exertion levels of participants
  • Modify and customize workouts to accommodate various skill levels
  • Take responsibility for cleaning and sanitization and proper storage of equipment used
  • Complete required educational modules and show a desire for continual learning
  • Attend fitness department staff meetings 
  • Supportive team player, role model and collaborator
  • Provide member feedback, program concerns or questions to Management in a timely fashion
