Job description

E-Logic is seeking a Video Production Assistant to support studio and field video production operations for the U.S. Department of State. This position assists with equipment setup, editing, live productions, media management, and post-production activities while ensuring high-quality digital content is delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and teleprompters.
  • Assist with studio and field productions.
  • Edit video content using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Support live productions and media asset management.
  • Assist with transcription, translation, subtitling, and copy editing.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Maintain organized media files and production documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional video production experience.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience operating professional video production equipment.
  • Knowledge of media asset management practices and digital workflows.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting live productions.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Experience creating social media video content.
Work Location

Washington, DC (Department of State Headquarters and Annex 5). Primarily an on-site position supporting studio and field productions. Weekend work may occasionally be required based on production schedules.
