Job Summary
The Mountain Experience Crew Member plays a critical boots-on-the-ground role in delivering Bogus Basin's on-mountain events, guest programs, and terrain park operations. From events production to maintenance of Terrain Based Learning, Winter Terrain Parks, and Mountain Troll Experience, this hands-on position requires a strong work ethic, adaptability to changing mountain conditions, and a passion for high quality outdoor recreation.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Execute event setup and breakdown.
  • Provide operational support and guest service during events.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of event gear.
  • Install and maintain signage and fencing.
  • Perform daily Winter Terrain Park, Terrain Based Learning Experience, and Mountain Troll Experience production and maintenance.
  • Support Winter Terrain Park builds.
  • Support seasonal transitions between winter and summer operations.
  • Maintain safety and event readiness across the mountain.

Requirements
Required Skills, Traits, and Abilities
Soft Skills

Hard Skills
  • Intermediate to expert skiing or snowboarding ability preferred.
  • Skilled with hand tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of event production and mountain operations.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Outdoor, mountain environment with variable weather.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, raking, and digging.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
