Summary
As a Senior Professional Trainer at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve - a community's most vulnerable. It also allows for working remotely (from home). Here are the details on this position.
Your role in our mission
  • Conducts advanced level training courses, both on-site and virtual, for management and professional development to include lectures, web-based programs and hands-on sessions. Also offers train-the-trainer sessions to build instructor pool.
  • Designs and develops professional, management and/or non-technical skills training programs and curriculums, both on-site and virtual, for employees. Works with applicable business unit/area to establish content, prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees. Ensures that training courses address all levels of employee.
  • Prepares lesson plans including developing and preparing training materials such as manuals, handouts, instructor guides and audiovisuals.
  • Works with training management and business units to conduct needs assessments to ensure training needs are met.
  • Gathers, reviews and analyzes course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions. Recommends and implements approved revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.
  • Reviews external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase as requested. Makes recommendations to management as appropriate.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure training materials are effective and user-friendly.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, education, human resources or related field
  • Six (6) years or more of experience as a corporate trainer or facilitator.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to use various training technologies effectively.
  • Experience with adult learning principles and learner engagement techniques.
  • Demonstrable Instructional design methodologies and software with experience in training transformation project(s) or system implementation launches preferred.

What you should expect in this role
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to support new launches.
  • This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).
  • Upward career advancement is possible and encouraged.

  • New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.
  • The use of AI during interviews is prohibited.
  • This position will accept applications until August 31, 2026.

The pay range for this position is $60,300.00 - $86,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
