Job Description and Salary
The San Francisco office of ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking a transactional attorney to join the firm's nationally ranked Sports Practice Group in its 4 th - 5 th year class. Ideal candidates would be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, although consideration will be given to candidates located in Los Angeles or other cities in which the firm maintains an office. The position will focus on commercial transactions in the sports and entertainment industries and may also include the opportunity to work on other matters in complementary fields, such as real estate, IP, and corporate. Priority will be given to candidates with substantial direct law firm experience working on sports-related transactions, such as, sponsorship agreements, naming rights agreements, multi-media rights agreements, procurement agreements, pouring rights agreements, franchise acquisition and disposition agreements, jersey patch agreements, merchandising agreements, venue development and operations agreements, advertising or promotional agreements, suite, club and premium seating licensing, concessionaire and food and beverage agreements, ticketing agreements, team and venue license agreements, joint venture agreements, and media right agreements. The position offers a rare opportunity to join a nationally recognized, close-knit sports practice of a national firm which was recently named a Law360 Practice Group of the Year and to work directly with experienced sports attorneys across the firm to serve a diverse base of sophisticated sports industry clients, including professional sports leagues, teams, venues, operators, sponsors and brands, universities, and media companies. This position requires membership in good standing with the bar of the state in which the candidate is located.

The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $275,000 to a maximum of $305,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus program with opportunities for discretionary incentives that may include productivity, business development, and merit-based components, subject to applicable policies.
