What You’ll be Doing

  • Train and mentor new therapy technicians.
  • Participate in staff meetings to enhance the learning and team environment.
  • Participate and assist in planning of technician meetings.
  • Coordinate therapy technician schedules, including time off requests.
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
  • Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
  • Observe patients during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compile progress on patients’ response to treatment.
  • Effective communication of patient progress and reactions to treatment, to the physical therapist.
