Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and reliable Solar Installers to support residential solar in and around Cleveland, Ohio. You will be responsible for providing high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. These roles have competitive pay with piece-rate (per-watt) compensation, plus quality and volume bonuses that reward high-performing installers. This role is ideal for installers who take pride in speed, accuracy, and quality. Residential solar experience is preferred, but not required — we provide training for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the role.

Job Description:

  • Complete residential solar installations according to project specifications, local building codes, and state of Ohio requirements.
  • Perform roof-mounted solar array installations, including racking installation and module placement.
  • Bend and install EMT conduit on the roof and on the exterior and interior of homes.
  • Submit installation photos and documentation to online portal.
  • Maintain an orderly and safe job site that complies with OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Comfortable working on steep roofs while utilizing proper safety measures to ensure safety of other members of crew also working on the roof.
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work safely in various weather conditions.
  • Experience in residential solar installations preferred, but can be taught on the job with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license required for leadership positions.

  • Quality bonuses available. Earn additional bonuses for clean installs, passing inspections the first time, and meeting workmanship standards.
  • Volume bonuses available. Install more systems and higher total wattage to unlock additional incentive pay.

  • Entry level installers average $70,000 annually. Experienced Crew Leads or Electricians average $100,000 annually.
