Job description

This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a federal government customer. Minimum education is a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. Four more years of experience can be substituted for a degree. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and skill level. Network Security Services LLC offers a full benefits package. Details:
The analyst will be responsible for conducting rapid development activities that directly support forward-leaning operations. This support shall include knowledge and insight with cyber security tools, network topologies, and secured networks. The position applies knowledge of development activities focused on software development and network analysis, particularly focused on implant delivery and Command and Control (C2) channels. The scope of this effort involves software engineering and development; configuring and managing varying/mixed complex networking environments; and managing and developing Linux environments. Five (5) years of recent and relevant working experience is required in the following focus areas:
• Programming skills such as Rust, GO, C++, Python, Bash
• Knowledge of OSI model to include TCP/IP stack with a focus on network devices • PCAP analysis
• Penetration testing to include knowledge of zero days, and understanding of persistence and command & control (C2) infrastructure
• Software development life cycle Preferred Skills: The following are preferred or desired skills:
• Programming languages: C++, Rust, JavaScript
• Professional experience related to Command and Control (C2) channels/techniques
• Knowledge of techniques for implant delivery and initial access (IA) vectors
• Understanding of endpoint detection and response (EDR)/security information and event management (SIEM) and evasion tactic and techniques
