About The Role
Essity is seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst (Insights Analyst) to lead the analysis and interpretation of market, consumer, and shopper data to drive strategic business decisions. In this role, you will design, execute, and synthesize research across areas such as competitor intelligence, category dynamics, and consumer preferences to deliver actionable insights for assigned brands or categories.
This is a hybrid role based in Philadelphia (3 days/week in office).

What You Will Do
Insights Generation & Business Impact
  • Analyze market, consumer, shopper, and customer data to identify opportunities, risks, and growth drivers.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations to support both strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Proactively identify trends and implications for assigned brands or categories.

Market & Data Analysis
  • Leverage syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Numerator, Circana) to monitor category performance and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct ongoing market tracking, including monthly performance reviews and trend analysis.
  • Support development of market sizing, forecasting, and category growth projections.

Research Design & Execution
  • Support or lead market research studies, selecting appropriate methodologies to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure all research aligns with global standards and delivers high-quality, reliable insights.
  • Partner with external research agencies and vendors, managing relationships, timelines, and deliverables.

Reporting & Communication
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and scorecards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Present findings in a compelling and concise manner to influence decision-making.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing across teams and maintain the market research library.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and strategy teams to validate plans and ensure decisions are insight-driven.
  • Actively contribute to customer, consumer, and shopper-related business decisions.
  • Share best practices and contribute to insights communities and projects.

Who You Are
  • 3-5 years of experience in market research, either on the client side or within a consulting/agency environment, supporting consumer packaged goods (CPG) businesses
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Experience working with syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, Circana, Numerator and/or Kantar
  • Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with data
  • Experience managing external vendors or research partners is preferred
