We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Roadway Design team in St. Louis. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer with roadway design experience who is looking to leverage their technical expertise in roadway design, grow professionally, and contribute to meaningful transportation projects as part of a 100% employee-owned company.

In this position, you will:
  • Support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway design projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Perform engineering analyses and design. Prepare design calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and other project deliverables.
  • Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • May be involved in the development and mentorship of early-career engineers and technical staff.

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design
  • Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer.
