Job Summary:
Fort Wayne Community Schools is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to lead and participate in programming development and analysis of computer systems and software. The role involves overseeing programming projects, resolving data problems, and enhancing system performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design program develop and implement new systems and Revise programs as necessary to assure adaptation with existing computer systems.
• Design install upgrade and configure software to enhance and assure smooth running of assigned computer systems.
• Review analyze and modify existing systems and software programs as Prioritize and respond to requests concerning existing computer systems and programs.

• Oversee and participate in a variety of projects to meet to District needs resolve data problems and provide for system Report progress of assigned projects to appropriate supervisor.
• Review application system requirements and design system and software specifications.
• Train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned Assign employee duties and review work for accuracy completeness and compliance with established standards requirements and procedures.
• Maintain and assure efficient operation of assigned computer systems and Design install upgrade transfer and configure software to enhance and assure smooth running of assigned computer systems; verify integrity of data in new systems.
• Design analyze schedule and implement technical Coordinate system implementation activities and assist end users with system conversions.
• Review analyze and resolve programming issues and problems in a proper and timely manner.
• Monitor analyze and adjust programming activities in response to District Participate in the development and implementation of computer programming goals and objectives.
• Review completed projects to assure alignment with project and technology goals and objectives.
• Facilitate the collection management manipulation reporting and distribution of computerized data used for Review and evaluate existing system designs to determine effectiveness and operational efficiency; modify systems to enhance system performance and presentation of data.
• Analyze requests for system and software additions solutions and revisions; confer with users to determine system and application needs requirements feasibility operational problems and desired Develop systems and applications in response to feedback of District personnel.
• Debug programs by preparing test data and testing program operations as Run test data in actual computer operations.
• Detect and resolve programming errors and miscalculations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and software program errors and malfunctions as necessary.

• Prepare and develop technical design specifications procedural manuals and user documentation according to established procedures.
• Provide technical support and assistance to personnel concerning the operation of new and modified systems and software programs as needed.
