Job Title: RN Nurse Practice Educator

Location: Camden, ME 04843

Setting: Nursing Home

Position Type: 14-Week Travel Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $2,100 weekly


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Practice Educator to join our team on a 14-week contract in Camden, ME. This role focuses on supporting nursing staff through education, training, and clinical guidance to ensure high-quality patient care. This position offers a structured weekday schedule, ideal for nurses looking to make an impact in a short-term assignment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide education, training, and mentorship to nursing staff.

  • Develop and implement clinical education programs and materials.

  • Support staff in maintaining best practices and regulatory compliance.

  • Assess staff competency and provide feedback for professional development.

  • Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and documentation.


Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state of Maine (or compact license eligible).

  • Proven experience in clinical education, nursing mentorship, or staff development.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
