Job description

We’re officially launching pickleball and looking for an enthusiastic, reliable coach to help us build something special from the ground up — with real opportunity to grow hours, locations, and leadership as the program expands.

Initial launch locations & schedule:

???? Liberty School – Petaluma (Fridays)

  • 4-6th grade 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

???? Flyte Racquet Club (Weekends)

  • Weekend sessions, likely mornings
  • Exact times TBD based on coach availability

This starts part-time, but the goal is growth — more hours, more days, and more locations as enrollment increases. If you’re someone who wants to help shape a program (not just show up and clock out), this is for you.

What we’re looking for:

  • Pickleball experience (teaching or playing)
  • Comfortable working with kids
  • Positive, energetic, and dependable
  • Excited about growing pickleball in the community

Nice to have (or willing to obtain):

  • PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) Certification
  • Pickleball Certification through the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA)

???? While this role is specifically for pickleball, there’s also opportunity to teach tennis and/or golf for candidates who have those skills and want additional hours.

If you love pickleball, enjoy working with kids, and want to be part of something that’s expanding (instead of stuck in neutral), let’s talk.

Requirements

  • Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.
  • Must have reliable transportation as all programs are run at local schools and
  • parks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children and parents.
  • Must be punctual (classes are held after school in the afternoons and children are counting on you)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bring your personality to make classes fun
  • Maintain Equipment and Kit bags
  • Update class rosters and complete student progress reports

Benefits

  • Flexible Schedule
  • Part Time Hours
  • Wages $40-50 per class+ (depending on experience and performance
  • Summer Camp work availability
  • Programs run with school calendars
  • New Employee Referral Fee
  • After school enrichment
  • Sports coach
