Job description

Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Network Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures supporting mission operations. The candidate will provide technical leadership in network engineering and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments. Supports exercises in the Greater Indiana Area with 10-25% travel between Camp Atterbury and Muscatatuck Training Center.

 
Responsibilities:
   Design and implement enterprise network architectures.
   Configure and maintain routing, switching, and network security technologies.
   Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues.
   Implement network security controls and ensure compliance with security standards.
   Provide technical guidance to network engineering teams.
   Develop network documentation and architecture diagrams.


Required Qualifications:
   Secret (or otherwise) pending clearance verification
   Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
   Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise network infrastructures.
   Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols.
   Experience troubleshooting complex network environments.


Preferred Qualifications:
   Professional networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent).
