Position Summary
The Math Tutor Supports student success and inclusive education by providing individualized and small-group mathematics tutoring to a diverse student population. Contributes to a positive and supportive student experience by helping students build confidence, persistence, and competence in mathematical concepts essential to academic achievement and workforce readiness. Assists students in understanding course materials, strengthening problem-solving skills, and advancing progress toward their educational and career goals. Maintains tutoring documentation and collaborates with faculty and Student Success teams to support learning outcomes that advance New Mexico through education.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in college-level mathematics (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centered approach
  • Reliability, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality of student records
  • Completion of CRLA required training
