Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Plant Manager will direct, coach, and teach as required to accomplish the objectives of good manufacturing practices. The Plant Manager is responsible for the plant safety, following SOP, daily production, logistic, use and effectiveness of the ERP system, purchasing of raw materials and plant security. The production Manager is to assist in development and optimization of the manufacturing processes.


DETAILED TASKS (not limited to):

  • Maintain a safe working atmosphere at all times
  1. Monitoring all work process for safe working conditions
  2. Practice proper working procedures
  3. Understand and be a part of PSM
  4. Develop and maintain safety policies
  5. Recording OSHA Reports on all incidents of near misses
  • Maintain plant security
  1. Ensure proper open up and close up procedures
  2. Ensure no unauthorized person enters facility
  3. Assisting in developing and Optimizing Processes
  • Assist Project personnel in developing the process by using experience, communication and cooperation
  1. Generate records, condition sheets
  2. Assisting in testing
  • Production Responsibilities
  1. Quality
  2. Observe and adjust Manufacturing Standard as required
  3. Monitor production Reports
  4. Schedule shipments
  • Continually develop individual skills in the areas of

  • Function as a team leader by directing the team to assist in obtaining above responsibilities.

REQUIRED TRAINING:

  • High School diploma or GED / Technical diploma / professional studies diploma

REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES:

  • Languages: English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in a manufacturing atmosphere
  • 2 or 4 year degree in related field minimum, 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in shop floor data collection and statistical process control.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently on plant operations and projects as a member or leader of a team.
  • Hands on knowledge of ERP systems
