Job description

Position Overview

Navigate Scape Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in a full-time remote position. As a key player in delivering exceptional mental health services, you will exercise your clinical expertise while working with a diverse range of patients. Your role will encompass both direct client care and supervision of clinical operations, making a meaningful impact on the mental well-being of those we serve.

About the Organization

At Navigate Scape Counseling Center, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality mental health services through innovative approaches that include both telehealth and in-person consultations. Located in Glendale, California, we are committed to promoting mental well-being by offering tailored treatment plans that prioritize the specific needs of our clients. Our supportive team atmosphere emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and a shared vision for mental health care excellence.

Work Environment

Our work environment is designed to foster flexibility and well-being. As this is a remote position, our clinicians benefit from a work-from-home setup that allows for a tailored work-life balance. While we provide in-office support and resources as needed, most of your client interactions will occur virtually, allowing you to work from anywhere in California. We understand the importance of mental health in driving productivity and satisfaction, and as such, our team enjoys unlimited time off and a stable schedule with a day shift from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Utilize a high degree of independent judgment to oversee daily team operations and ensure quality care through effective case management and staff collaboration.
  • Conduct clinical and administrative supervision of therapists, ensuring they have the necessary guidance to provide the best possible client care.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to program development initiatives.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapists to enhance their skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Monitor agency operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels and accessible treatment options for clients.
  • Lead crisis intervention efforts and respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for administrative and professional purposes to support quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement activities and utilization reviews.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve guiding clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related disorders. You will employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to individual client needs, conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans that facilitate healing and growth. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that clients receive the compassionate and effective care necessary for their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Mental Health or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations or substance abuse clients.
  • Prior experience in assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy contexts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirements are essential, experience in supervisory roles, crisis intervention, and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Candidates are encouraged to highlight relevant experiences that align with the demands of this clinical position.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this LPCC position ranges from USD 65,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, Navigate Scape Counseling Center offers a generous benefits package that includes:

  • Flexible work schedules to support personal and professional commitments.
  • Financial assistance for professional development and continuing education.
  • Paid malpractice insurance and licensure fees.
  • Support for accessing paid continuing education opportunities.
Career Growth Opportunities

Navigate Scape Counseling Center is invested in the career development of our clinicians. We provide pathways for advancement within the organization, including opportunities for leadership roles and specialization in various therapy practices. Our commitment to your continuous growth ensures that you will have the resources and support necessary to enhance your skills and expand your career within the mental health field.
