Job Summary
New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking an HVAC Technician with a D2 or S2 license to maintain trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for a customer in the Southington area.
This position is in-house and the hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following.
Keep trade licenses and certifications current. Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Connecticut D2 or S2 license.
Extensive commercial HVAC systems experience.
Must have a clean driving record
Boiler and steam experience a plus
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
