Job description

Are you tired of long commutes? We are looking for resourceful, self-directed Handyman Technicians with a broad range of skills to complete residential and commercial projects throughout Snohomish County.

At Mr. Handyman, we require a minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry and related trades. If you have experience with decks, doors, sinks, flooring, tile work, painting/staining, and drywall repair, you will thrive in this role. Our improvement, repair, and remodeling projects can range from a few hours to multi-week assignments, providing a wide variety of work and challenges.

The pay range for this position is typically $34–$38 per hour and is based on your experience as a professional handyman, along with your background in home repair and maintenance trades such as carpentry, drywall, and finish work.


Successful Handyman Technicians Possess the Following:

  • High standards for workmanship and attention to detail
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on trade experience
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
  • Full set of professional hand and power tools
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and coworkers to help build long-term customer relationships
  • Physical capability including strength, balance, and agility — must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs., working in tight spaces such as cabinets, and climbing ladders up to 24 feet
  • Professionalism, honesty, and a positive attitude
