Job Description:

Parsons is looking to hire an amazingly talented environmental geologist!Would you enjoy being involved on a wide variety of geological and environmental field tasks? Parsons is now hiring for our rapidly expanding environmental projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting various environmental projects in bringing effective solutions to complex environmental problems.
  • Working with various clients and regulators in developing these solutions.
  • Gaining technical experience as you work towards your professional geologist certification.
  • Working with senior technical personnel and project manager to further your career goals.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Familiarity with related environmental rules and regulations is preferred
  • Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience with emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS and 1,4-dioxane)
  • Experience with sediment investigation and remediation
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (and up to date refresher) training preferred.
  • Fundamentals of Geology certification with goal of obtaining your Professional Geologist licensure.
