Help ensure employees follow job hazard analyses, required personal protective equipment, equipment procedures, project specifications, and applicable safety requirements.
Provide day-to-day work direction to crew members without independently conducting performance evaluations, approving leave, issuing discipline, or making personnel decisions.
Help develop crew members toward National Wildfire Coordinating Group qualifications needed to support prescribed burns and wildland fire assignments.
Coordinate with Tribal, federal, state, county, and other entities when projects occur near the Reservation boundary or under another jurisdiction.
