Job description

General Summary:
The Marking position is responsible for setting up and operating marking, engraving, and rolling stamping equipment,
Operator is responsible to mark, stamp or engrave parts according to WFI-Customer Specifications onto manufactured products.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
• Set Up Marking - Stamping Equipment.
• Review WFI Job Orders Specification to set up marking manufactured parts.
• Get 1st article inspection done to assure part meet WFI requirement.
• Identify Marking Priorities based upon Sales Order Due Date or Hot Orders.
• Deburr and grind parts to eliminate sharp edges and any potentials scale
• Set up and operate manual mill and lathes to produce tensile and sharpy test pieces
• Maintain his/her area clean and organized
• Maintain Marking Equipment in good conditions
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE accordingly
