Job description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the production process. This is a hands-on position that works directly on the plant floor, performing inspections, measurements, and quality checks to support production and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working closely with production personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hourly quality inspections throughout the production process.
  • Conduct first article inspections on new and existing production runs.
  • Measure parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and other inspection tools.
  • Verify part fit, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect products for defects and identify quality concerns.
  • Document inspection results and communicate issues to production leadership.
  • Support containment and corrective action activities when quality issues arise.
  • Work closely with production personnel to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or similar manufacturing quality role.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor for the majority of the shift.
  • Experience in plastics manufacturing, thermoforming, injection molding, metal stamping, fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
