Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

The Financial Reporting Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the monthly and quarterly preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Equity), footnotes, and supplementary schedules in accordance with US GAAP. This position offers exposure to multiple teams including General Ledger Accounting, M&A, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and HR. It also supports IPO-readiness, ESG reporting, and SOX compliance initiatives.


● Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and footnotes.

  • Maintain roll-forward schedules for Goodwill, Intangibles, Leases, Debt, and Equity.

  • Analyze balance sheet and income statements for errors or variances.

  • Submit ad-hoc journal entries and respond to audit inquiries.

  • Improve reporting processes and documentation for financial reports.

  • Support implementation of new accounting standards and IPO-readiness.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Assist in preparing ESG reports and SOX documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience.

  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Workiva, SQL, Python, BI tools, Microsoft Copilot is a plus.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
