Position Summary:

As a Front Desk / Sales Associate, you'll be the face of Club Pilates, welcoming potential clients, bringing in new members, and driving sales of memberships, private training, teacher training, and retail merchandise. You'll engage with new and existing members, helping them define and achieve their fitness goals. Along with bringing in new prospects/members, the Sales Associate also focuses on retaining current members by providing stellar customer service. The Sales Associate will work with the General Manager and other Sales Associates to maintain the upkeep and appearance of the studio, check-in members and ensure upkeep of inventory levels for retail merchandise. A fitness background is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong sales background are ideal.

Responsibilities:

Greet & check-in all members & potential members in the studio

Engage with prospects during Intro classes from booking of the class through post attendance

Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales & services

Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, & close via email, text, phone & in-person interactions

Conduct tours of the studio while establishing relationship & targeting prospective member’s needs

Emphasize & enforce objectives of the studio as a fitness & wellness provider

Present available services to current or prospective members

Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota

Maintain a clean & orderly work environment including studio room

Be a motivating & inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life

Build strong connections & good relationships with studio staff, instructors & members

Schedule & participate in networking/community events & studio promotions as needed

Maintain confidentiality with members personal information

Use the club management software system (e.g., Club Ready)

Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Excellent sales, communication & customer service skills required

Must communicate professionally & effectively with clients & colleagues

Goal-oriented with proven ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training & teacher training

Must be able to work under pressure & meet deadlines

Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in-person & on the telephone

Must be fluent in English

Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday

Energetic, positive & motivational

Trustworthy, professional, punctual, reliable & dedicated

Ability to recognize areas for improvement & make changes using good judgement

Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers & clients

Must have proficient computer skills & ability to learn club management software systems (e.g. Club Ready)

Retail/service sales or fitness sales experience preferred
