Healthtrax Swim Academy is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate Swim Instructors to join our team!

We are seeking instructors who genuinely enjoy working with children and families and who understand that swim lessons are about more than learning strokes — they are about building confidence, developing water safety skills, and creating positive experiences that swimmers will remember.
The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, patient, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are looking for instructors who take pride in their work, bring a positive attitude to every lesson, and are willing to go above and beyond to help each swimmer succeed.
We are looking for individuals who:
  • Love working with children and helping others learn.
  • Are comfortable and confident in the water.
  • Are patient, encouraging, and able to adapt their teaching style to different swimmers.
  • Can work effectively with children, teens, and adults.
  • Bring positive energy and professionalism to the pool every day.

  • Are comfortable communicating with parents and guardians about their child's progress.

Experience & Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous swim instruction, coaching, childcare, education, or recreational experience.
  • Lifeguard certification.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities.
  • Knowledge of swimming fundamentals, water safety, and stroke development.

Schedule
We are currently seeking instructors with availability during our busiest lesson hours, including weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. Additional availability may be available depending on program needs.

Starting at $18/hour, with opportunities for additional hours based on availability, experience, and program needs.
