Location: Anaheim or Hawthorne, California

Our commitment to nurturing the potential of our students ensures their professional success in the dynamic field of nursing.

Job Summary:

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Vocational Nursing (VN) Clinical Instructors who meet California Nursing Board qualifications to provide high-quality instruction in the clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a supportive and effective learning environment for our nursing students.

Requirements:

- Current and active RN or LVN license in the state of California.

- At least 2 years of clinical experience as an RN or 6 years of clinical experience as a LVN .

- Bachelor's required

- Proven didactic or clinical teaching experience.

- Must meet all regulatory and institutional qualifications.

- Approved by the Nursing Board to hold the position.

- Computer literacy and strong digital skills are essential.

- Must provide educational credentials such as a Certificate of Completion, school transcript, or diploma. For foreign qualifications, equivalency certification by a valid credential evaluation service is required.

Essential Duties:

- Follow and teach according to the clinical course syllabus provided by CCI.

- Prepare and implement daily course outlines.

- Record and manage student attendance, submitting reports to the Registrar and addressing attendance issues.

- Create a positive and proactive learning environment, offering individual assistance as needed.

- Use diverse teaching methods to maintain clear and consistent communication.

- Engage in the school's retention strategies by maintaining a supportive mentor relationship with students.

- Objectively administer and grade exams to reflect student performance accurately.

- Keep detailed records of student performance, including grades and attendance.

- Uphold and enforce CCI rules and regulations.

- Regularly attend faculty meetings and participate in curriculum development.

- Recommend enhancements to course materials and facilities.

- Develop and maintain a professional development plan.

- Organize field trips, class projects, and guest speaker sessions to enrich learning.

- Instruct on laboratory safety procedures when applicable.

- Participate in school functions and professional development opportunities.
