The Company: Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

The History: Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

The Position: We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach, who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all.

Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development.

New Coaches can work *5-20 classes a week and can earn from $25per hr up to $45per hr. Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment.

Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded, and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.

The Schedule: The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below: Monday-Friday (Times): 3:00-6:00 Weekends: (Times) 9:00-12:00.

The Location: Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Available to start the end of March/beginning of April.
  • Must have reliable transportation as classes are held at different locations within the territory.
  • Must have a clean, valid drivers license.
  • Must pass both state and FBI background checks. (Includes DUI/DWI)
  • Offer a 12 month commitment with our growing company.
  • Attendance and Punctuality are paramount.
  • A genuine passion for creating a joyful work environment.
  • A natural flair for exuding positivity and energy in any situation.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when needed.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them develop skills and confidence through soccer
  • Understand your responsibilities while in charge of children.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents and children.
  • Teach classes in organized, structured, fun manner (training will be provided)
  • Be able to maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout every class.
  • Maintaining class rosters.
  • Passion for sports/fitness.
  • Background in fitness preferred (athletics, sports, dance, martial arts, gymnastics etc)
  • Experience working with children aged 2.5 - 6 preferred (Teacher, substitute teacher, camp counselor)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
