Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of your clients.
• Complete thorough assessments of clients’ psychological and emotional needs, developing personalized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals.
• Employ diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and family systems approaches to facilitate clients' personal progress.
• Coordinate with fellow mental health professionals and community resources to provide integrated care that addresses the complexities of clients’ circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and progress, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health therapy, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT with Lumina Mental Wellness, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, and life transitions. Our client base extends to couples seeking to enhance their relational dynamics and families looking to strengthen their connections. By fostering a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment, you will empower clients to achieve meaningful change in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid LMFT licensure in the state of New York, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and standards.
• Strong foundational knowledge in therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies specific to individual, couple, and family therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and compassionately.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills that promote rapport with clients and enhance the therapeutic process.
• Relevant training certifications as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist are a plus.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy to families, couples, or individuals is preferred.
• Experience working in a community health clinic setting is an advantage, as it aligns with our mission to serve diverse populations.
• Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and tools is beneficial for effective service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and productivity. In addition, you will receive:
