Seekingexperienced Cosmetologist to join Christwood Community Center's Lotus Spa team.The ideal candidate will have access to our existing book of business with theopportunity to expand and serve over 600 potential clients already connected tothe Christwood community. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautifulsetting nestled in the hub of Covington.
Requirementsfor this position include:
  • Current Cosmetology License
  • Proof of Liability Insurance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with elderly clients.
  • Experience working with adaptive equipment a plus.

Cosmetologist Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and chemical treatments.
  • Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures.
  • Consult with residents to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services.
  • Offer a flexible schedule, supporting the needs of the client.
  • Maintain a clean and organized salon area, ensuring compliance of the Louisiana standards of sanitation and sterilization as required.
