Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and workshops focused on guest services, patient support, environmental management, communication and coordination, and problem solving.

Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical demonstrations.

Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help students improve their skills and understanding.

Manage program logistics, such as scheduling classes, field trips, and other program-related activities.

Stay current with best practices in both the physician office and healthcare industries to provide relevant and practical training.

instructing students on healthcare vocabulary, word structures, and abbreviations, often preparing them for careers in the medical field

Act as a professional mentor, offering career advice, job interview coaching, and insights into working in ambulatory care and outpatient clinics.

Instruct students on abstracting clinical information, assigning accurate medical codes, and following CMS and HIPAA guidelines.

Education:

High School Diploma

Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of two years of experience working as a Certified Professional Coder.
