We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America's leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures.
Due to increased demand, we are looking for additional seek subcontractor (1099) construction professionals/teams with established carpentry expertise to partner with us on our residential outdoor living building & remodeling projects. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck franchise. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic and the ability to follow our documented processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate your team to ensure they understand and work on construction drawings in compliance with the specified details
  • Check construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of information
  • Check materials delivered against take-off and notify Production Director/Project Manager of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflow
  • Establish and follow a schedule with the Production Director/Project Manager
  • Maintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilized
  • Maintain positive relations with customers
  • Refer all problems to the Production Director/Project Manager for resolution
  • Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 3 - 5 years' experience carpentry experience with ability to demonstrate excellent techniques in structural framing, deck construction, working with composite and PVC materials, and foundation/footer layout
  • Must own or have access to all tools and equipment needed to complete projects
  • Must own or have consistent access to truck or van for transportation
  • Must have or be willing to obtain General Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance
  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Willing to learn and follow documented processes
  • Ability to work with specified details and quality assurance checklists independently
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and check take-offs
