Job description

Beyond20 is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to join our growing training and consulting practice. This position will report to the Chief Architect but will work with a significant degree of autonomy, exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
While this role is not primarily a development role, the qualified candidate will have extensive consulting experience configuring and deploying at least three or more modules within the ServiceNow platform. In addition to current certifications in CSA and CAD, three additional current ServiceNow product line certifications are required.
The position is remote, but may require some travel (<25%).
The ServiceNow Architect will interface with customers to elicit requirements, translate into user stories, create design documentation, and lead the development team in building the customer requirements into fully functional solutions. This role will also assist with scoping and proposal development and
will lead customer demos.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and document solutions for clients on the ServiceNow
  • Assist with presales scoping and solutioning efforts
  • Serve as primary point of accountability and ownership for technical quality
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to other Architects and Developers
  • Lead customer workshops, including technical demos, both live and via remote meeting tools
  • Identify and assist with development of new business opportunities (training engagements and professional services)
  • Taking on leadership responsibilities as needed for the benefit of peers and management, such as program development, meeting coordination, training and mentoring
  • Be generally awesome and get things done

Other duties may include:
  • Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow Platform
  • Assist with proposal writing, respond to RFPs and RFQs
  • Deliver thought leadership through:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful ServiceNow consulting and development experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment - creating, scoping, prioritizing, reviewing, managing, testing, and delivering user stories
  • Experience gathering and documenting client requirements
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate to a diverse audience and easily convey technical topics while exhibiting consultative traits
  • Strong familiarity with cloud technologies
  • Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, Angular, Integrations, web services, and scoped applications on the Now platform
  • Experience with SQL, Batch, Powershell, Azure
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with a minimum of supervision
  • Knowledge of the ITIL Framework and Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
  • Four-year college degree or comparable experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to talk to C-level audiences
  • Effective problem-solving, time, and project management skills
  • Able to leverage Office365 to create compelling presentations and meaningful reports
