As a Registered Massage Therapist at Foundation Health, you will shape and guide our RMT practice along with our team, allowing you full autonomy in how work with patients.

Registered Massage Therapists provide care to individuals who need assistance as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, surgery, or illness.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will:

  • Perform massage therapy treatments based on individual client needs and medical conditions.
  • Assess and document client health history, concerns, and treatment plans.
  • Educate clients on self-care and therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace.
  • Adhere to all College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) regulations and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (if applicable).
  • Keep accurate records of treatments provided.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
  • Liability insurance coverage (as required by CMTO).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a loyal client base.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience with various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal massage) is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Social media or blog content creation experience is a plus.
