About the Job

Responsibilities:
  • As a Commissioning Specialist on our team, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support Commissioning projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and perform all commissioning related activities to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations. Projects that you will engage with will include commissioning, retro-commissioning and re-commissioning projects. You will have the responsibility of working directly with Jacobs clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities such as: Utility infrastructure, life safety, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M. Mission Critical Experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
