Duties

Perform specialized and technically demanding tests that require concentrated and considerable time and experience.

Review daily quality control and quality assurance data, recognizes and solves quality assurance problems.

Evaluate required documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Maintain required documentation to ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies.

Train and mentor junior technicians and other staff members.

Manufacturing of blood products in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Inventory and shipping of blood products.

Review donor and manufacturing records in accordance with Food and Drug Administration and Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies.

Assist the military and civilian supervisor in other related functions as required.
