A career as a Product Manager within the Business Strategy team at National Bank Direct Brokerage means acting as a strategic leader in the evolution of our brokerage platform. You will play a key role in defining the product vision and transforming business priorities into tangible solutions that create value for our clients, partners, and organization.

Leveraging your expertise in product management, digital transformation, and complex platform development, you will help advance the client experience, operational performance, and technological capabilities of one of Canadaโ€™s largest direct brokerage platforms.


Your Role

  • Define and evolve the brokerage platform's product vision by aligning strategic priorities, client needs, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities.
  • Prioritize and lead the product initiative portfolio based on business value, client experience, risk considerations, dependencies, and delivery capacity.
  • Lead efforts to identify growth opportunities, pain points, and improvement levers to deliver the best version of the platform, in partnership with business, operations, compliance, legal, technology, and client experience teams.
  • Influence and mobilize stakeholders around strategic decisions by fostering alignment between vision, priorities, and execution.
  • Ensure platform performance, governance, and capability evolution through performance indicators, risk management mechanisms, and a results-driven approach.
  • Promote National Bank Direct Brokerageโ€™s expertise across the industry through the development and facilitation of industry activities, while contributing to the evolution of the offering through a deep understanding of market needs and emerging trends.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field combined with at least 7 years of experience in digital product management or the evolution of large-scale digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience defining a product vision and translating it into a roadmap, business requirements, and deliverables within highly regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of transactional platforms and the brokerage industry.
  • Expertise in digital client experience concepts, user journeys, platform integration, data, emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, and digital assets.
