Location: Newaygo, MI
 
Shift: 2nd shift
 
Pay: $18.07 per hour
 
Job Summary
 
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Worker to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to manufacture and assemble quality products for our clients.
 
What You'll Be Doing
 
As a Production Worker, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Material Handling & Inspection: Loading and unloading parts from racks, performing visual inspection, and carrying out general assembly tasks.
  • Assembly and Fastening: Following written and visual guidelines to accurately fasten parts together using bolts, clips, screws, heatstake, or other appropriate methods.
  • Machine Tending & Rotation: Operating machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations and rotating to different workstations as production needs require (e.g., using fixtures for springs, connectors, or mirror glass).
In addition, you will also be expected to work safely, maintain 5S standards, keep your work area clean, and accurately complete all necessary paperwork on time (such as glass traceability, scrap sheets, and daily production reports).
 
What We're Looking For
 
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
 
Qualifications:
  • Able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures and operation instruction sheets.
  • Able to understand and write production tags and labels.
  • Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Attention to Detail: To ensure the accuracy of assemblies, inspection, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: To work well with other employees in a team environment and rotate efficiently through various production stations.
