Job description

The CNC Machinist Programmer is responsible for independently programming and operating a variety of CNC machines including Vertical Machining Centers and Turn/Mill machines in a custom job shop environment. This role requires expertise in CAD/CAM programming and precision machining to deliver high-quality, custom-manufactured components with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers and Turn/Mill machines
  • Create and optimize CAD/CAM programs for custom manufacturing jobs
  • Set up and run CNC lathe and milling equipment accurately and efficiently
  • Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for precise machining
  • Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools
  • Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to ensure product quality
  • Maintain CNC machinery and update programs as needed

Preferred Qualifications
