We are seeking a Product Quality Engineer to join our team and driving improvements in our Electromagnetic Warfare products. The Quality team works with our customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements. We develop cutting-edge Quality processes and methods to secure scalable, long-term business success. As a Product Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, product development, and continuous improvement as well as some experience with electromagnetic warfare systems such as RF countermeasures, electromagnetic energy, electronic masking, probing, reconnaissance, and intelligence along with electronic security, emission control, spectrum management. If you are someone who loves to build world-class Quality processes, work hands-on, and be accountable for results, then this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
    • Own the elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle with a key focus on PCBA product quality. Engage in Quality activities from concept through development and manufacturing to field use.
    • Ensure the execution of product and process requirements. Define and improve such requirements. Partner with production to insure incoming material inspection, process control plans, and end of line test capture the essential quality requirements for successful customer shipments.
    • Work cross-functionally to define and execute the product quality requirements.
    • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities for critical PCBA and system level interactions. Review the effectiveness of actions and share lessons learned across the product team.
    • Lead containment actions to segregate non conforming parts on the production line.
    • Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities. Support customer quality issues and refurbishment testing and quality control.
    • Support change control board by identifying quality risks related to the engineering change of a production part.
    • Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Define and improve required documentation and activities.
    • Support investigations, initiatives, and projects as needed, at the team or organization level
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field
    • Working knowledge of AS9100 based Quality Management System requirements.
    • Experience working with RF and or electronic systems with particular experience in PCBA design, development, and sustainment.
    • Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
    • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
    • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense, automotive, medical device, or similar complex hardware.
    • A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
    • Ability to obtain and hold a US Security Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
    • Experience with RF test systems, data collection, analysis, and optimization for production control
    • Defense, national security or RF communication systems familiarity through industry or education
    • Delivered electronics warfare, RF or electronics products into production
    • Active TS/SCI clearance
    • Experience with low volume, high complexity manufacturing

US Salary Range
$112,000-$149,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
