Overview

Plans, supports and monitors large scale transformational projects (from initiation through completion) with high cross functional impact and dependencies. Manages projects through the application of comprehensive project management concepts that include leading and coordinating groups/resources, organizing and tracking tasks, mitigating risks, engaging stakeholders, creating and monitoring deliverables, and reporting on obstacles to ensure effective project outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Oversees multiple project teams from across Service Strategy Organization to align resources, establish project plans and requirements, and support initiatives from kickoff through completion. 
  • Tracks and reports on key metrics (i.e., deliverables, duration, benefits, readiness) and communicates findings to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manages the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal partners, third-party vendors, and leadership.
  • Maintains project documentation, including the plan, IT release readiness, communication & enablement plan, and deployment timeline.
  • Coordinates stakeholder and dependency meetings to ensure all ancillary teams, deliverables, and new processes supporting the initiative are on track.
  • Creates and delivers updates to varied audiences. Manages these updates as a benchmark for success, including status, exceptions, roadmap changes, and impacts. Beyond keeping key stakeholders informed, these updates are designed to influence decision-making, drive strategic actions, and foster a positive perception of the project.
  • Manages enterprise-wide projects by applying comprehensive project management concepts, including leading and coordinating groups/resources, organizing and tracking tasks, mitigating risks, engaging stakeholders, creating and monitoring deliverables, and reporting on obstacles to ensure effective project outcomes.
  • Develops and presents comprehensive project updates, serving as a benchmark for the team's success. These updates encompass project status, exceptions, dependencies, risks, delays, and financial health, with clear explanations of any variances. Beyond keeping key stakeholders informed, these updates are designed to influence decision-making, drive strategic actions, and foster a positive perception of the project.
  • Lead post-implementation and retrospective reviews following project go-live, capturing key lessons learned, identifying process improvement opportunities, and establishing best practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance delivery outcomes for future initiatives.
  • Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside their area of expertise.
