Job description

Join an Extraordinary Team

VIVIFY is a fast-growing technology company in the clean energy space, and we're looking for a Project Manager to help drive the successful development of our next-generation products.

This is not a science or engineering position. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing technical teams and complex projects. You will work closely with VIVIFY's engineers and scientists to establish priorities, manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure projects stay focused and on schedule.

You don't need to be the technical expert — that's what our engineering and science teams are for. Your role is to manage the project and the people executing it, making sure everyone knows what needs to be accomplished, deadlines are clear, priorities stay aligned, and commitments are delivered.

If you're an organized, accountable, results-driven project manager who enjoys bringing structure and focus to highly technical teams, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day execution of product development projects from initial planning through completion
  • Work with engineering and science teams to establish clear project goals, milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress against key milestones
  • Hold engineers and scientists accountable for agreed-upon deliverables and deadlines
  • Keep projects focused on the highest-priority objectives and prevent scope creep or unnecessary distractions
  • Identify delays, roadblocks, resource constraints, and other risks before they impact the project
  • Work with technical team members to understand what is needed to keep projects moving forward without needing to perform the technical work yourself
  • Coordinate priorities across multiple engineers, scientists, and other team members
  • Run regular project meetings and maintain clear action items, owners, and deadlines
  • Follow up consistently to ensure action items and deliverables are completed on time
  • Track project budgets, resources, materials, and other project requirements as needed
  • Provide leadership with clear and regular updates on project status, including progress, upcoming milestones, risks, delays, and areas requiring attention
  • Ensure the team remains aligned with the original project objectives and expected outcomes
  • Coordinate communication between technical teams and company leadership
  • Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, reports, and project records
  • Escalate issues when timelines, priorities, or deliverables are at risk
  • Help establish repeatable project management processes as VIVIFY's product development organization grows
  • Support multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced technology environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management, program management, operations, or related experience preferred
  • Experience managing technical, engineering, R&D, product development, or scientific teams strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities
  • Strong ability to create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong follow-up skills and a demonstrated ability to hold people accountable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with highly technical professionals without needing to be the technical expert
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools
  • Ability to quickly understand project objectives, dependencies, and priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, project management, or a related field preferred

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive rather than reactive
  • Comfortable holding highly technical team members accountable
  • Strong at managing people, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Persistent with follow-up and unwilling to let important items fall through the cracks
  • Able to keep a team focused on the work that matters most
  • Comfortable asking questions and pushing for clarity when expectations or timelines are unclear
  • A strong communicator who can translate project status into clear updates for leadership
  • Confident enough to challenge delays or shifting priorities when they put a project at risk
  • Solutions-oriented and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time
  • Focused on execution and getting projects across the finish line

Most importantly, you don't need to be the person doing the science.

You need to be the person making sure the people doing the science know what they need to accomplish, when they need to accomplish it, and that they follow through.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000–$90,000 annual salary
  • 100% employer-paid medical insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding technology company
  • Stable, long-term career with a high-performing team

Why VIVIFY?

At VIVIFY, we're building more than innovative technology—we're building a culture of excellence. We move quickly, value ownership, and believe every team member has a direct impact on our success.

As Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in turning VIVIFY's technical work into completed products. You'll provide the structure, accountability, and organization that allows our engineers and scientists to do their best work while ensuring projects continue moving forward.

If you're someone who loves taking a complex project, creating order around it, keeping people accountable, and ultimately getting it across the finish line, you'll thrive here.
