The Assistant to the Head of Production provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to ensure efficient management of rail production and maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in supporting dayโ€‘toโ€‘day operations, tracking performance, coordinating communication, and ensuring compliance with rail industry standards.

Key Activities
  • Assist the Head of Production in coordinating daily rail production and maintenance activities.
  • Follow up on action items, deadlines, and operational priorities.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and communications for the Head of Production.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and production performance summaries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and production data.
  • Organize operational reviews and production schedule.
  • Collect and analyze production and maintenance data (e.g., fleet performance, delays, availability).
  • Prepare dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Help identify trends and highlight operational risks or inefficiencies.
  • Act as a liaison between the Head of Production and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication of production priorities and updates.
  • Support escalation and resolution of operational issues.
