What You'll Accomplish With Us

As a Talent & Culture M&A Project Lead, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Talent & Culture activities for mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures, while coordinating various T&C workstreams such as talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, labour relations, change management, T&C systems, DE&I, employee experience, and talent management and development.
  • Structuring, planning, and delivering projects by developing integrated plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and commitments required for the successful execution of initiatives.
  • Coordinating and engaging internal and external stakeholders, including T&C, IT, Finance, Legal teams, managers, vendors, and business partners, while facilitating governance, planning, and progress meetings.
  • Monitoring project progress, managing budgets and resources, and identifying and addressing risks, issues, roadblocks, and critical dependencies by proposing solutions that support the achievement of project objectives.
  • Supporting organizational transformation and change management initiatives while contributing to the continuous improvement of project management methods, tools, templates, and practices to enhance the consistency, rigor, and effectiveness of the T&C M&A function.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their strong leadership, political acumen, and ability to influence and drive cross-functional initiatives forward in complex environments without direct authority.
  • Stands out for their ability to structure information, manage interdependencies, establish priorities, and effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates agility, adaptability, and strong business acumen to adjust execution in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Is known for excellent communication and synthesis skills, and for maintaining transparency regarding progress, risks, issues, and decision-making requirements.
  • Has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management or a similar role within complex, cross-functional environments, along with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or system implementations is considered an asset, as is knowledge of Workday, LeanKit, Planview, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools.
  • Has an intermediate level of proficiency in both French and English, as the role requires daily communication with business partners and clients across Canada through emails, phone calls, and meetings.
