RWC is seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring the field team has the information, materials, documentation, approvals, and project support needed to execute work effectively.
This role works closely with Site Supervisors, Project Coordinators, the Construction Manager, estimating, procurement, finance, clients, general contractors, and suppliers. The Site Supervisor leads daily site execution, productivity, safety, and field planning. The Project Manager supports that execution by clearing project-level constraints, managing communication, coordinating materials, tracking changes, organizing documentation, and protecting the commercial and contractual interests of the project.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to keep project information moving so field teams can stay productive and projects can be completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, budgets, cost codes, schedules, risks, and contract requirements during project handoff.
- Interpret and communicate contract requirements, customer commitments, scope changes, exclusions, and project risks to the appropriate internal teams.
- Work closely with Site Supervisors to ensure they have current drawings, approved changes, site instructions, RFIs, specifications, and other information required to execute the work.
- Coordinate material needs, purchase orders, supplier communication, delivery timing, and material readiness to support the field schedule.
- Manage RFIs, design clarifications, site instructions, and information requests to prevent delays and remove project constraints.
- Track project constraints, assign follow-up actions, and help resolve issues affecting schedule, productivity, billing, or customer commitments.
- Identify, price, submit, negotiate, and track change orders, including cost, schedule, labor, material, and productivity impacts.
- Organize and maintain field documentation, including time-and-material records, quality check sheets, site reports, photos, backup documentation, and change order support.
- Prepare accurate cost-to-complete updates and project forecasts using field input, production data, committed costs, approved changes, and known risks.
- Review and approve applicable material, equipment, subcontractor, and project-related invoices.
- Prepare and submit progress applications, support billing requirements, and coordinate with finance to resolve payment, invoicing, or cost coding issues.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, general contractors, consultants, suppliers, internal teams, and leadership.
- Support project closeout, deficiency tracking, final documentation, warranty requirements, and post-project lessons learned.
- Follow and support RWC standard project management tools, workflows, documentation practices, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, project coordination, or a related construction role.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, change orders, and project documentation.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasting, cost codes, billing, change orders, and financial performance.
- Strong coordination and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Site Supervisors, clients, General Contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify project risks, remove roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues to support successful project execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
- Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing commercial steel stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related interior systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset.
Why Join RWC?
- Competitive salary with strong long-term growth potential

- Collaborative, innovative, fast-paced team environment
- Comprehensive company-paid benefits (extended health, dental & vision)
- Easy Fridays to support balance and productivity
